The Affinity Schools NYCDOE Citywide Office will help all students realize their fullest potential with the aligned support of the Citywide Office, Superintendent teams, and Affinity Partner organizations.
The Affinity Schools NYCDOE Citywide Office provides support and advocacy for 162 schools across NYC so that each school can enact its unique vision given the context of its Affinity Group affiliation and continuously improve in its efforts to ensure all students’ academic, emotional, and social success.
Summer in the City Training
The Affinity NYCDOE Citywide Office is pleased to offer 2019 Summer in the City (SitC) training for teachers in collaboration with the Brooklyn North Borough Office. Training for middle school teachers will take place on Monday 7/1. Registrants have the option of signing up for 2 sessions of their choice. Training for elementary school teachers will take place on Thursday 6/27 and Friday 6/28. No breakfast or lunch will be provided.

Professional Learning for School-Based Staff
Unified Professional Learning System - Up Learning
The Affinity Schools NYCDOE Citywide Office, the Office of Field Support, and the other NYCDOE Borough Offices are proud to launch the Unified Professional Learning system (UP Learning). UP Learning allows any member of the Borough / Citywide Office (B/CO) community to create, publish, manage, and report on professional learning opportunities for school and field staff.
